As a group of creatives we are always looking out for the latest innovative designs and love to share great concepts!
Present on every product packaging we see today is a bar code, the clever use of different width parallel lines allows for automated check-out systems. Although bar codes are great functionally, they lack in any visual appeal and may even be intrusive on packaging.
Japanese company, Design Barcode, asked themselves ‘why has the bar code never changed?’ and so went on to be the first company to integrate design elements into the bar code.
